Camera Modules consist of a sensor mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB), which is designed to connect to a system board, either indirectly thru a Camera Shield or directly thru a dedicated connector or flexible flat ribbon cable.

Unless otherwise noted in the product name, all camera modules have color rolling shutter sensors.
