IEEE 802.3af Micro USB Active PoE Splitter Power Over Ethernet 48V to 5V 2.4A
Power over Ethernet or PoE describes any of several standardized or ad-hoc systems which pass electric power along with data on twisted pair Ethernet cabling. This allows a single cable to provide both data connection and electric power to devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones. The IEEE 802.3af Micro USB Active PoE Splitter Power Over Ethernet 48V to 5V 2.4A provides a low-cost solution for delivering power to a 5 volt camera or other device over 328-492ft (100-150m) of network cable. This device allows power to be carried on 10/100Mbps of data transfer rate networks with 802.3af switches with network cable. The PoE switch supplies 48 volts DC at the source location.
